About
Waiwaiā Tāmoko & Taonga was founded by local cousins Carlea and Dani, who envisioned a unique space in Te Awakairangi that fostered creatives and dreamers. In 2021, Carlea, who owns and works from O'Lala Beauty Bar, welcomed Dani to practice tāmoko within her space. Over the next three years, their collaboration grew, leading to the vibrant and creative establishment you see today.
